👨🏻‍🏫 Mentoring at Techstars Miami Powered by J.P. Morgan

As part of Techstars Miami’s accelerator program, I started mentoring some noteworthy startups last month. I know it’s cliche, but most founders struggle to focus on their customers’ primary pain and create an MVP. Also, from my own experience as an entrepreneur, try to sell something to your customers. You will struggle for a long time if they are not willing to buy from you.

Here are some startups I spoke with:

1️⃣ Sirius College: AI-focused university helping non-technical managers grow their salaries and careers with data science training.

2️⃣ NestedFunds: is creating an entirely new blueprint for the modern realities of aging. Systems have not caught up to our increasing longevity, and adult children are struggling to fill the gaps when supporting parents.

3️⃣ Modet: A fully digital operating system for apparel brands to seamlessly and quickly deliver ethically-manufactured products.

4️⃣ Cuentologia: Offers unique Spanish audio content as tools to help parents to connect with their kids while improving their social-emotional skills.

Within the next couple of weeks, I’ll be the Lead Mentor for Modet, and I’ll help other startups if they need it.

🤖 Talking about ChatGPT

Last Thursday, I presented how to use ChatGPT in the UX process, which was very similar to my presentation at Miami Hack Week. I was surprised by the number of people who came to the talk (exactly 368 humans). There were a lot of questions asked, and I will answer them on my Instagram in the near future.

📚 After Google UX Certificate

Anyone interested in learning more about UX Design should take the Google UX course. After you’ve completed it, I recommend you take Codecademy’s UX/UI intro course. Your understanding of future design content will be strengthened thanks to this solid foundation.

Is there a reason why I should pay for a bootcamp, Juno? Read here to find out why.

🗺️ The Online Search War

At the beginning of the web, Yahoo! transformed the yellow pages into online directories. After we got Google using semantic searches more relevant and making verbatim googling a standard for an online search, but AI can now take over Google service, and Microsoft Bing could be your next best friend.

📀🪩🕺 Your personal DJ is here

Our lives will be impacted by AI, and some companies, such as Spotify, are ready for the game. For the ad campaign to come to life, I wonder if they will use smart lights like Philips Hue or Eufy.

🤩 Make you irreplaceable (in 2023 only)

These AI tools will make you absolutely irreplaceable in 2023 or less.

1️⃣ Beautiful.ai – Try this and make some fantastic presentations with a number of templates.
2️⃣ Jasper.ai – Jasper is the AI Content Generator that helps you break through creative blocks to create unique, original content like Facebook ads, web content, and more.
3️⃣ Synthesia – Create videos from plain text in minutes for your landing page.
4️⃣ Peppertype – Your own virtual assistance. From Email to Landing pages, you can create a lot with Peppertype.

👉 Having a lousy time building your portfolio? Check this interesting (but not responsive 🤔) tutorial to build your portfolio using Figma and hosting in Google domains.

👉 Don’t have a headshot for your portfolio? Just take a selfie and follow these steps.

👉 Don Norman thinks AI is not smart enough… Someone needs to explain to him the concept of “deep learning” in AI.

👉 Make Cards, not War. This designer has some very cool UI card tutorials. Please give him some love and share.

👉 Maybe your Figma is saved from Adobe.
